Meet our team:

a close knit family where you can feel like you belong.

Minal Shah, MS, NCC, LPC
Clinical director
intensively trained in:
dbt, ro-dbt, & mbt,
trained in cbt, &
rehabilitation counselor

With a background in trauma medicine and with a Rehabilitaiton Counseling integrative degree in law, medicine, and psychology, Minal brings a fresh perspective and the ability to provide comprehensive care for each patient in the clinic. She has been serving the patient population for over 28 years now, acquiring skills and knowledge that have helped her treat one of the most challenging populations in mental health. She was also privaleged to be a field researcher for the 2014 DSM V. Her latest venture is learning radical openness, a therapy designed for a difficult to treat population, available in the US for the first time this year. In addition, she has given numerous lectures for various organizations and hospital facilities. In her spare time, she likes to watch her kids dance, bake, crochet, play her instruments with her children, sail, play cards with her friends, and go horse riding...

You know that saying, "throw it out to the universe and the answer will come to you?" Well, that is exactly how Lisa found us. Her energy, passion, and knowledge in psychology and medicine are incredible assets for the adolescent population that is struggling to survive, much less understand how to heal. In her spare time....wait....don't know if she has any! We believe she continues to do charity walks--she's always on the run around the office, and she loves to hang out with her son and cheer onhis football team.
